University of Ghana Opens Admissions Into Master of Health Economics 2021/2022 Academic Year

The University of Ghana has opened the opportunity for all who wish to enroll in its master of Health Economics Programme for the 2020/2021 academic year. All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and must be ready to immerse themselves into the 1-year programme on a full-time basis.

Entry Requirements

All applicants for the Master of Health Economics Programme must have a good first degree (minimum of a second class lower) in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or in a Health, Biomedical, and Social Science discipline.

How to Apply

Anyone interested in pursuing University of Ghana’s Master of Health Economics Programme would have to purchase the University’s application E-Voucher for Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢200) at any of the following Banks:

Fidelity Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Ghana Commercial Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal merchant Bank, Prudential Bank, Consolidated Bank, and Republic Bank.

After purchasing the E-Voucher, prospective applicants will have to log on to the University’s website (www.ug.edu.gh)to complete the application process there. In addition, they would be required to upload the following documents online:

  • A 3-paged Curriculum Vitae
  • Certified Academic Transcripts
  • Scanned copy of Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
  • Two endorsed Recommendation letters from 2 referees from
    • Place of Employment
    • A relevant Academic Institution

Deadline

The deadline for the submission of all application forms is 29th May, 2021.

Eligible applicants will be invited to write an Entrance Exam and suitable applicants will be posted on the University of Ghana website.
